“This is a sleek beautifully made cigar. This soft box-pressed cigar has tight, but visible, seams. Very nicely presented.” Eric Espinosa blended this cigar with and for the celebrity Chef Guy Fieri.
First Third
Body/Complexity: Medium
“After I light the cigar and take my first few puffs I get the overwhelming need to grab something to drink. That is the essence of the smoke early on is red pepper flake. When I take a retrohale, after a few minutes, I definitely get strong red pepper flake. This cigar is so rich and the smoke is thick that I want to slow down and enjoy it. Luckily the cigar starts to smooth itself out. The red pepper subsides a bit and is replaced by a distinct stone fruit(Cherry) and Mexican cocoa flavor is with your palette. The pepper is still there as well. The smoke is so thick and rich, almost creamy
Second Third
Body/Complexity: Medium
“The cigar has cooled down and more the flavors have developed. The flavor has transformed into a more spicy Mexican hot chocolate with a spicy cinnamon adobo/cumin spice flavor to that Mexican hot chocolate flavor. Retrohale has a red pepper and chipotle pepper flavor.”
The second third flavor changes from red pepper to black pepper with a continued cheery note and a slight aftertaste of minerals. The oily wrapper burns consistently and the draw is near perfect
“The pepper has faded a bit and the notes of Cinnamon and nutmeg are very noticeable for this of this cigar. Coffee/Espresso is noticed and is “Wicked Awesome” flavor profile. You definitely feel the cigar strengthening in the second third!
Final Third
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“The final third is a lot of black pepper !with gingerbread and the reemergence of red pepper. The retrohale I the final third is definitely pepper and mineral based. This cigar draw is still consistent burns well. If you put it down for a few minutes, it tends to stay lit.fantastic and has become one of my “Go-To” cigars. The flavors are great and, although, peppery, it is not overwhelming the palette
Overall Impressions – Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Toro-H Maduro
I use a single v-cut on the cigar, and the draw is very good as expected. The burn is very good with little to no relight. With a wide-open draw you would think it burns fast, but it doesn’t.
“The construction is well made with a nice silky, velvety wrapper. It fits well in hand.

“The final third is a lot of the same with gingerbread and the reemergence of red pepper. The retrohale I the final third is definitely Mexican chocolate or cocoa. This cigar is fantastic and has become one of my “Go-To” cigars. The flavors are great and typically smooth with spice and cocoa. Tastes like I am smoking gingerbread.
Overall Impressions – Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua No. 2

Since this is a regular cigar in my repertoire now, I can’t give a rating lower than a 95. That is how much I enjoy this cigar! This cigar was hands down, a solid performer. This was a great cigar and not for a beginner or an apprentice cigar smoker.
At the finish, this cigar was firmly in my wheelhouse for full bodied cigar and after finishing, I wanted to light another to enjoy again!
“Overall this is a delicious cigar. From spicy to baking spices and Mexican chocolate, The Montecristo 1935 anniversary torpedo is a special cigar nd. Must have in my humidor.
